KLX®230R OFF-ROAD MOTORCYCLE

The KLX®230R motorcycle is the full-size recreational trail bike for off-road adventures. With longer travel suspension, lighter weight and more ground clearance, this motorcycle is all about the trails. A 1.74-gallon fuel capacity means long-range fun on the trails while the aluminum swingarm, plastic fuel tank and streamlined bodywork keep weight as low as possible for optimum fun and class-leading performance.

STEADY POWER

A 233cc air-cooled four-stroke engine generates a steady pull with robust low- to mid-range torque while the capable two-valve SOHC low maintenance design ensures durable performance. Electric start and fuel injection ensure easy starting and hassle-free performance regardless of altitude or air temperature, and cleanburning efficiency earns the KLX®230R motorcycle year-round trail access.* STEADY POWER *California green sticker model available for year-round access.

RUGGED CHASSIS

New perimeter frame and short wheelbase offer the handling needed for confident trail riding for a wide range of riders. The frame, seat and tank were designed to give riders an easier grip, offering superior chassis control. Seams between the shrouds, seat, and side covers are flush, which facilitates freedom of movement when changing riding positions.

VERSATILE SUSPENSION

Long-travel suspension provides ample ground clearance, with a 37mm telescopic front fork and rear Uni-Trak® single-shock suspension. Maintain comfort and control even on rough terrain and adjust the shock preload to suit rider size and preference.
